Brussels has the richest and above all most varied art nouveau inheritance. Owing to the work of famous architects such as Horta, van de Velde, Hankar and many others who came to  Brussels at the end 19th century and have made Brussles the capital of art nouveau. Iron and glass were introduced, with groundbreaking modern technology, and attached the importance of ornaments and details. Approximately 500 buildings and fronts, where some are still accessible for the visitors.
