Climate
Depending where you venture in Australia the climate will suit you as it is diverse across the country. The south of the country is cold however usually frost-protected winters prevail from June to August. In the high mountain regions of Tasmanien, Victoria and New South Wales ski-ing is popular. The summers from December to February are warm to hot. Spring and autumn are similar as in Europe. The further one comes northward, the more drastically the climatic conditions are affected and the seasonal differences decrease. At the top of Darwin you get the monsoon belt where it only has 2 seasons: Hot and damp and hot and drying. The dry season is from April to September and the damp season from October to March. In the center of the continent dry during the day and usually very coldly at the night.
